Carol Moffit
In 2010, Carol Moffit purchased the popular local antique store “Molly & Me”. Since that time, she has steadily grown the business into one of the hot spots in Hayesville’s historic downtown square. Carol recently purchased the building in which Molly & Me is located, and the adjoining warehouse space, enabling her to expand her inventory and services.
Carol grew up in Atlanta, and worked with Delta Airlines for many years. Fluent in the French language, she was a co-developer of Delta’s foreign language program as the company prepared to expand into overseas markets. Marriage took her to Southern California, where she spent the ‘80s and ‘90s. While there, she founded her own successful fashion company (Carol Moffit Jewelry and Accessories) which was aligned with various charitable organizations. Upon her husband’s retirement, she returned with her family to the South, and maintains residences in Tusquittee, North Carolina and Hiawassee, Georgia. With an ardent love of antiques and collectibles, she has ambitious goals for the continued growth of Molly & Me.
Carol’s wish is to offer quality items at attractive prices. She likes to turn her merchandise and is quick to negotiate. Carol operates Molly & Me with the able assistance of her sister, Ellen Stahlkuppe.
